Joey’s has long been one of the best places to enjoy breakfast or lunch in St. Lucie county. When owners Jerry and Cissy Smith sold the business in Nov. 2012 the food and service declined greatly. I am pleased to announce that the original owners are now back and working hard to restore the reputation. Many of our customers have started coming back again but If you had a poor or disappointing experience at Joey’s the past 2 1/2 years, we would be grateful if you would please consider giving us another try and allow us to regain your business.

Joeys is a fine place to grab typical diner fare. I had a steak melt for lunch and it was great!
Poor service. Went there with my daughter after church Sun. 12/07/14. We both read the sign about supporting small businesses rather than chains. We thought it was good and agreed with it. However, the service was so poor that I probably won’t return. Donna’s sister took our drink orders and never returned. This same person brought our meals and dropped them on the table and fled. We had to yell to get her back as we had a question about our order. No one came to refill our coffees. My daughter had to go to the register to request more coffee. The thing about chains is they have strict guidelines how to treat patrons. Your place was not. The food was very good though.
3rd strike. I agree since ownership changed, food and service has been poor. We have been going there for forever, was our favorite spot. No more, last visit was there last chance and the failed. If you want just ok food and less than ok service enjoy…I expect more for my money, would rather go to the waffle house.
GREAT food! Don’t believe the negative reviews!! They’re probably written by a competitor!? FANTASTIC breakfast!!! GOOD coffee! Reasonable prices. Home-made EVERYTHING!!!
Don’t be fooled by the rating, ever since the owners changed hands about a year ago this place has gone down the drain. The food (once the best in town) is a shell of its former self, and the people who manage the place constantly go at each other in the kitchen creating a very uncomfortable experience in the dining room. Lily’s cafe and JJ Plums (each right down the street) provide a far better food & experience.
