The Gin Mill in Jensen Beach, on Hutchinson Island has the best burgers around! The pretzel bun and the waffle fries are delicious additions to the juicy burger and the price is right too! You can eat inside the bar or upstairs at the Tiki Bar. Service is sometimes slow but the servers are all very nice and the outside seating is dog friendly. . If you are so inclined, the Tiki Bar also has frozen slushy drinks. I tried the frozen Pina Colada with a floater of Meyers Dark rum and it was yummy.
BEST BURGER IN TOWN!. Great local bar good people and service, the burgers are by far my favorite in town. They have half pound burgers served on pretzel bun and waffle fries and they cook them to perfection whether you want rare or xtra well done and theyre only $5 on saturdays. The bar is open everyday and their kitchen stays open til 1am for late night munchies trips. Forget fast food late night when no ones open I go here and get a drink while waiting on my food. Also theu have a rewards card so you get in store credit for every dollar you spend.
Not on Sunday day shift. I have always had good times here and good food — until last Sunday !! The bartender on Sundays is often rude, so this did not surprise me. I ordered my usual hamburger and beer. The burger came out way under cooked … still no problem.I sent it back. The boy took my burger off the bun and cooked it longer as my waffle fries sat in the basket and died. It did come back in a fresh plastic basket : )The burger was still under cooked, but was extra crunchy around the outside. Miss Personality inquired as to the quality the second time I was served and I told her it was not very good, but I was hungry and would make due. Two bites later, I surrendered. With most of the burger and my poor dead fries still in the basket, I ordered another beer and asked for my check.Here is what I expected — a new burger and fries. Not his fingers picking off the pickle and onion and I don’t want to know where the mayo went.Here is what I did not expect — to be charged for the burger !!The bartender told me that I eaten almost half of the burger, so of course she charged me.I tell anyone that will listen about this place and how nice it is and the food is great. With the addition of liquor license, the little corner bar has finally found hope. The location and atmosphere does not demand the 8$ drinks but stop in for one and enjoy a must have Murph burger.19 Nov, 2012This little corner has seen many owners but the current ones have finally got it right. With a full liquor bar and really good bar food. The murph burger is a must have. Enjoy!
