Second year in a row to eat here on vacation. Excellent once again. Fresh sushi, very friendly staff, and great service.31 May, 2013We got there 30 minutes before closing but were warmly welcomed. We sat at the sushi bar and Mr. Miagi had us laughing the whole time. He came up with a special roll for us and it was excellent. Highly recommend this place.
Best sushi in Fort Walton Beach! I go about every other week. The seafood at thw other places in town seem to not be as fresh. I’d recommend the Louisiana and/or the Lova rolls. Mr. Miyagi is very personable and enjoys interacting with customers.
Best sushi chef of all time! We were visiting from New Orleans and Mr. Miyagi seriously took care of us. He was not only entertaining but his special role were innovative and delicious! Can’t wait to go back!
I’ve been coming to Kiku Hana for just over a year now and it’s the only place ill go in town for sushi, bulgogi, kalbi, and other favorites. After living in Korea, Kiku Hana brought the true hospitality and Asian savour to the Emerald Coast. I love the staff, the food, and the environment. The experience is well worth every penny!
Great sushi and good vibe!. I read all the reviews about this place and wanted to try it for myself. I was greeted the moment I walked in the door. The service continued to be pleasant and attentive throughout my stay. I sat at the sushi bar and was impressed with Mr. Miyagi’s skill and attention to the customers. I ordered 3 different rolls to share (2 listed on the menu and 1 chef’s choice) and all were delicious! There are many special rolls available that are not listed on the menu. Feel free to ask for a special roll based on your sushi taste. Miyagi will happily prepare you a custom order and socialize with you when he can.I am only in town for 4 nights and plan to return before I leave.
Awesome Sushi. When I first starting going to Kiku Hana I was pretty new to eating sushi. Mr Miyagi was awesome and he introduced different things and was more than willing to let me try all sorts of different things typically through making a custom roll(s).I have been a almost weekly regular to Kiku Hana and as others have said Mr Miyagi is more than willing to make you a custom roll or even one of his special rolls if you ask about them and he isn’t swamped. One other thing I haven’t seen mentioned is that Mr Miyagi is an saki expert and has a good selection of saki to choose from.The staff and owners are awesome here and even though some days they are a little slower than others they show they care in all the work they do.
