I got food to go from here, for the first time. Service was good but the food…. Let me start off by saying they messed up my order, I was supposed to have potato salad & they gave me coleslaw. On top of that the BBQ sauce wasn’t good & the ribs weren’t either. My bf wasn’t happy about his ribs or pork! That was basically $20 down the drain. I was real disappointed! I’ve been looking for a good BBQ joint.
If you like vinegar/mustard based BBQ sauces this place is for you! I like all kinda of BBQ sauces from the dark brown sweet ones to the orange/yellow tangy ones (which this place has) and the Q is spectacular. This is a BBQ joint so the inside isn’t supposed to be fancy. It’s a hometown place. I highly recommend trying it out. Every time I come back in town to visit home I make sure I stop here and fill up! The sides are wonderful and the service is friendly. And it’s priced accordingly!
It is about the Q. I LOVE the bar-b-que here. I have been eating here at least once a week for 25 years. The sides are good, but the Q is the star. The atmosphere is marginal but the prices are low and the service is friendly and down home. Enjoy the food and don’t be a snob!
Everybody is very friendly. Food was ok. To me, the meat was dry and I didn’t like their mustard base sauce. The other sauces were good though.
Great BBQ and very accommodating for large take out orders.
You get a lotta food for not a lotta money !!
