It has changed. After two visits from my last review I have to change my vote. While they have remodeled and it looks nice, the food quality has gone downhill. The breadsticks are not as fresh as they used to be (or they are prepared way in advance)…mainly they come across as drier and taste reheated. During the last visit the salad was warm and limp. One entre, smoked mozzarella chicken, was flavorless and the oil had separated so much from the cheese that the meal was dry and seemed to have been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. Im not sure why the change but it is no longer a place that I feel I would get a good meal for the price. I would be hard pressed to go back.28 Jul, 2013Average to above average for a chain. Love their salad. Service can be hit or miss but overall good.
Heart attack anyone?. If you love butter and cheese then this is the place for you. I’m grateful to be able to have food but this place is always a disappointment
So this Ft Walton location was recently remodeled, and from several friends they had gotten quite a bit better since. Was not that I could see today. Got seated, waited over 10 minutes and never saw anyone again other than a busser. On a Sunday at 4:00pm and them not busy at all. Beyond unimpressed. Walked out without anyone even noticing; four people at the hostess desk talking amongst them selves. Would rather drive 40 minutes to Destin and get service. Or like today go elsewhere.
Rainy, our server was, was very wonderful. The food was very delicious. The service here should be a model for other Olive Gardens.
I don’t know if I just went on a terrible night or if this was an everyday thing but the service was absolutely terrible. We were waited on by 8 people the one main server that came the most was ok but the were so disorganized! I will never go back. Terrible first impression. I love Olive Garden just not this location.
Best Service of any Olive Garden I’ve been to!. I must preface my review by saying that we’re not huge chain-restaurant fans. We generally try to stay away from the chains, but we’re living in temp housing until our home is built and we’ve been forced to dine out more often than we’d like. We went to this Olive Garden after chuch one Sunday afternoon and we keep finding ourselves going back. The food is reasonably priced, tastes good and arrives at the table hot. This is more than we generally expect at a chain restaurant. However, what brings us back is the great service. They tend to have more experienced and friendly servers than most Olive Garden restaurants we’ve been to in the past.Overall, it’s good food and reasonably priced.
Everyone loves olive garden. I love the endless soup and salad, and the 5 cheese ziti pene pasta! They also have the best appetizer, the mussles! only 11$ for a huge appetizer, and if you tell them you don’t have enough they’ll bring you more! :)Service is usually good there, well, atleast it is for me! My mother actually used to work there a while back and said that everyone was really nice!-Jo
