Amazing Pizza, clean environment, friendly faces. all the worker at Blaze Pizza have an AMAZING Personality The pizza arrives in just a short time frame. I visit Blaze PIZZA at least twice a week. it is close to my job Shands @UF. I enjoy dining at the restaurant. Customers look like they enjoy their time with friends and family. I highly recommend Blaze PIZZA at Archer Road. Robert Barrio is a great employee at BLAZE PIZZA. He has an amazing personality and he greets every customer with a huge smile on his face. thank you BLAZE PIZZA YOUR THE BEST!!!!
A pizza place where you get pizzas with as many different kinds of toppings as you like! We were a group of friends and ordered 6 pizzas..So I got to try almost all the toppings available:pWe all took the regular base in the build your own pizza option. For the base sauce, we tried a combination of the spicy tomato sauce and cream cheese sauce – very good decision! As for the toppings…the chicken is really tasty, and the bacon was good too. Don’t forget to get sauted onions and roasted garlic added to your pizza! And if you like garlic a lot, you can get the garlic pesto added too, along with the base sauce! The veggies are all good – spinach, mushroom, banana peppers, and the red chillis for an extra spicy kick! They also have olives, jalapens and the norm. And they also have shredded mozzarella along with other kinds of cheese which you should definitely get added to your pizzas!Overall, really good pizzas. Will definitely go here again!
I don’t normally review fast food places, but Blaze is great. Each pizza is a personal size pizza, made to order. Anything you want for $7.85 (cheese only or 1 topping is cheaper.) The pizza was big enough for my me and my husband to share. I like that you can get everything you want for one low price. I also like that you can get anything you want and therefore can fill up on healthy food. I had a pizza with light sauce, light cheese and heavy veggies. They offer a wide variety of toppings. I had 2 types of olives, mushrooms, artichokes, fresh tomatoes, and spinach. They also offered a nice selection of cheeses and meats and various sauces. You could literally eat here every day and have something new each time. It was delicious. The staff was very friendly and the restarant was clean. Rarely do we eat fast food, but I can see myself coming here often.
Blaze Pizza is located across from a Zaxbys and next door to a Wendys on Archer Road in Gainesville, Florida. They offer a build-it-yourself concept where you start with a 11 original dough (gluten-free dough available), pizza, add your choice sauces, cheeses, meats, huge selection of fresh veggies, and finishes. One can get as many toppings (no anchovies) as they want for the same basic price. If I selected any more ingredients, it would have taken two Blazers to put my pizza into the fast-fird oven. Blaze has eight signature pizzas to choose from for those that sure what their cravings maybe. On those rare days you’re not into pizza, they also offer a selection of salads. The ambience at a Blaze is relaxed and friendly for a college town. Yet, the Blaze staff greets everyone (families, tens, kids, seniors, etc.) with friendly hellos and were attentive and eager to help me build my perfect pie. The sound of somewhat nondescript techno music fills the air but no Italian Frank, Dean, Connie, Borcelli, or even Elvis.
Not very good. Lots of options but i only got four and could see down to the tomato sauce on half my pizza. Also very loud and the yelling at the counter is a bit intimidating. Low quality pizza for $10 personal pies isn’t for me.
Good & fast pizza. I was at Blaze on opening day in January 2015. It’s a lot like a Subway or Moe’s where you build your own pizza. The neat part is that you can pick all your own toppings for one price or pick one of their standard toppings for a lower price. I’ve had both & feel like both are good options. At dinner time, the line is usually long. Don’t worry, once you order, your pizza is done in three (yes, 3) minutes. The oven is on fire & they are attentive to make sure it’s done quick. Naturally, with a three minute wait time, it’s thin crust pizza. Each pizza is enough for one adult. You may have leftovers. I wouldn’t plan on splitting a pizza with two adults though. The price is fair & on par for town. I believe two pizzas is about $18-20. My only negative comment is that it is hard to hear over so many employees talking/yelling (in a very friendly way) to each customer in line ahead of you. The staff was friendly and helpful. Give this place a try. I would go back in the future.
Blaze, a modern day Dominos for college students.. I had high hopes for Blaze PIZZA even though I knew it was a California based chain. With low quality pizza being the norm in Gainesville I thought a west coast influence may spice things up in town, boy was I wrong. Upon entry I wasnt sure whether I had entered a Moes or Chipotle. Already I knew it was a build your own pizza joint but this was down right plagiarism of restaurant dcor, from the constantly yelling and overwhelming staff to the nearly copied dcor of BurgerFi across the street. I ordered two pizzas one white and one red but I will almost always be grading traditional red sauce pizzas with either pepperoni, sausage or plain cheese, the most common toppings on pizzas and a good baseline for my grading system. The pizza I ordered was the red vine I believe, essentially a Margherita Pizza with some halved grape tomatoes on top which I thought were out of place. The wait was rather short as they were using a fairly high temp gas oven (one of the ones with the flames coming out to look like wood fired, I hate these the most, youre not fooling anyone). The crust I though was okay it was fairly light and airy with a good amount of crunch on the bottom, this was one of the better components of the pizza. The sauce was their standard red which seemed like a basic tomato puree with simply sea salt and maybe a small amount of dried herbs, certainly an attempt to be Neapolitan. It was once again barely okay, bland. I understand what Neapolitan pizza sauce is supposed to be but this is definitely not a Neapolitan pizzeria so I have to say it was a poor attempt at sauce overall especially this being their base red. The cheese was a decent fresh mozz but while a high temp oven was available it was not running hot enough to expel the proper moisture or melt the cheese properly, Sea salt oregano, and fresh basil finished the pizza off and these were easily the best touches.Dough 1/2Sauce .75/2Toppings 1/2Synergy .75/2Overall 3.5/8 Slices. 4 slices being average. While still certainly in the better half of pizzerias in Gainesville I would say this is a slightly below average pizzeria overall. While I cannot grade the overall feel of the restaurant it was distinctly corporate feeling in a style that to me is played out by many of the tex-mex and build your own burger joints out there. While I am not disappointed I stopped by, I will not be returning, that being said Im sure Blaze will do well in the Gainesville College market.Check My Pizza Blog @ https://thepizzayolo.wordpress.com/
