We dined at the restaurant on 13th St. The service was…unusual. The waitresses are short, sweet, and to the point. Don’t let this deter you, however. The food was very good. The Fried Wonton appetizer was fresh and hot, just the right amount of crispy, and very tasty. The orange chicken smelled delicious, and the sauce has a nice bite to it. The sesame chicken was just the right amount of sweet and savory. The portions were much larger than we expected. When it came to dessert, we both went with the tempura cheesecake. The batter was thicker than I would have preferred, but the flavor was good. The sesame seeds on the ice cream that accompanied the cheesecake were an unexpected addition. The food is pricy, but totally worth it.I would recommend sitting by the windows, as they provide a beautiful view of the lake and the occasional gator sighting.
Horrible service. I can’t comment on the food because after an hour we weren’t served. The rice and soup we ordered for our five year old never arrived. When we complained the soup came. After complaining again the rice was delivered. The other two meals never arrived. The manager did not seem to care. We enjoyed this restaurant many years ago. We will never go back.
