This Indian restaurant is awesome. The naan is fantastic and the food is consistently great! They in no way underestimate the spice levels, so if you are not into spicy food look for something that doesn’t have the flame next to it.,, OR YOU WILL SWEAT! But I love spicy food!! Definitely try here if you like Indian food. Make sure to check the hours of operation, as they are weird for lunch!
Gainesville has extremely limited Indian options (4), so I suppose there’s not a lot of pressure to excel. This place is ok. The butter chicken for example has a nice heat to it. Their pickles and other condiments are quite nice. Overall though many of the dishes are over-salted. The chai is uninspired. The price isn’t bad ($12 for Fri or weekend buffet lunch) but I likely won’t be back anytime soon.
