Meh. The food is good here but the prices are far larger than the portions! I am all for expressing your culinary passion which is clearly going on based on the menu but we left under filled and underwhelmed. Our waiter was nice but not very knowledgable, drink selection is fine, but I don’t think the experience makes up for the portion issue. Walked over to sweet cream for dessert to compensate. Not a terrible meal, but in a city like Gainesville, I expect to get my money’s worth!

Actually, this for the New Deal. I was very disappointed in the service. It was VERY slow and they were using both stores for orders and they got ours confused. I ordered butternut soup and side salad. Not too difficult…I have to say the soup was delicious but had to send back for a warm up. I won’t go there again.
Excellent food, even better service. Mildred’s is a great place to wow friends or family without spending a lot of money. They use local produce, meats and seafood and really let the quality of the ingredients speak for themselves. It is refreshing to see the quality of food they turn out while supporting local suppliers. The wine list is very notable too. Highly recommend for a nice dinner. Go next door to New Deal and get a burger for lunch (best in Gville.)

Fresh and delicious!. They had the freshest veggies I have ever had at a restaurant and love that they strive to use local and organic foods. The food was delicious and the service excellent!
