I’ve been eating here for about three years and love the food. The sushi is fresh and tasty and I’ve rarely had a bad experience. The new waitress isn’t very good, she gets nervous and forgets our food, which is a downfall to the restaurant. My mon loves the Korean food and they have great kimchi. I love the gator and Hawaiian roll and will only eat miso soup from this restaurant(:
Miya’s sushi is one of the best places!. I have been to miya’s sushi countless times, over the past few years, even before their remodel, and even with a owner change, this restaurant is always a delight, the service is sometimes slow if its crowded but worth it! as for the menu i have almost tried everything on the menu regarding the sushi rolls and i and my wife are always left satisfied, I highly recommend the Miya’s Bowl, eel, tuna and salmon in a bed of rice spicy sauce avacodo and a seaweed salad, its just delightful, Also they have various rolls that are unique, my favorite i keep coming back for is the continental and the Calypso, conch never tasted so good.
The best place in Gainesville for Korean food! Don’t be afraid to ask about a favorite Korean dish if you don’t see it on the menu, they probably have it and will make it for you. Don’t let the location/exterior or the fact that they also serve sushi (those double menus are typically a bad sign if you’re looking for authentic food, but not here) fool you…this place has excellent Korean BBQ!
Strip-Mall Secret. Nestled in Butler Plaza away from the road, Miya Sushi is often overlooked. Drop in some time and you will not be disappointed! Cozy atmosphere and great sushi will bring you back again.
Yum. Get any sushi roll with fruit. Seriously. The one with coconut and like mango (I think), or Kiwi… get them ALL. Also, yeah their service is quick.
