I’m in love! I’ve visited three times now, and every time the sushi rolls have been perfect! Tried the Candy Roll and soba soup today, both are going on my favorites list. Matsuri roll is great as well. 🙂 The staff are all very friendly. It takes a little while to get your food, but it is so fresh it’s definitely worth the wait! 🙂
Dinner review. I have been coming to this place for several years now and I’ve never had a bad meal. The sushi is excellent.
Go somewhere else. One of the worst sushi experiences I’ve ever had. Fish was not fresh. rice was not prepared properly. Service was poor. There are much better places to get sushi in gainesville.
Very authentic! Sashimi is fresh, California roll is prime, and the matsuri roll hits the spot. Definitely gonna miss this place since I’m from Texas
We have been to Sushi Matsuri on numerous occasions, and have never had a complaint. Sashimi is always super fresh and reasonably priced. Service has always been top notch and the staff is always friendly. The Yukke Roll is absolutely incredible.
We stopped by there at 2pm & they were closed. WTF
One of my favorite places in town. The sushi is always fresh, and the wait staff is always friendly and prompt. The lunch specials are the best deal, as the prices are nearly twice as much as dinner.
