Was there last night to celebrate a birthday. Waitress was attentive. The chef, however, never smiled, did not interact with us at all, and appeared to not like his job. Food preparation was ok but not up to Yamato usual standards.
Good food and show. Go for the rice, the noodles are bad.
The food is great, however, I have repeatedly waited for up to an hour when I had a reservation. I think it’s time to find another Japanese steakhouse in Gainesville.
