Great food!! So much food you have to take some home. So reasonable. Service is perfect, always there to see if you need anything. The entire restaurant has a friendly, homey feeling to it. You are welcomed and feel right at home as soon as you step inside. Come spend some time at Akins BBQ, you will be so lad you did!!!

Read the reviews and decided to stop on our way home. The food was pretty good. Can’t say it’s the best I’ve ever eaten though. The mustard greens were good and so were the baked beans. The BBQ fries appetizer was honestly a joke. French fries with melted American cheese and some BBQ pork thrown on top. Would not order again. Overall pork and brisket were ok. We have high standards for BBQ so we would not dine here again. They also slice the pork and we prefer pulled pork.
