Momma, went above for us. Incredible to have the owner of this establishment cater to my needs. Me and my lady stopped in, and can I say what a welcome to have, a smiling face and made me feel right at home. I can say she went above and beyond to fix me up some good old home style food. I will tell you I’ll be back and will recommend it to my friends. Thanks again Bear

Let me tell you: This spot is the business. So, we always find nice spots to eat at at any moment and this time was no different. As we drove down to Boynton Beach, we made a pact that we would find the proper Jamaican spot to eat at. I checked Yelp and there is was, great reviews and not too far from our destination. Once we arrived, we spotted a nice lady sitting down eating some food. Little did we know but this was Althea and man she brought out some food that took our breath away. Even after we were done eating, we sat down with Althea and shared our hearts regarding: Life, Politics, Food and much more. We didn’t want to leave and we ALMOST asked Althea to move in with us. That lady can burn and the bread she gave us was EVERYTHING! We can’t wait to return .
Wow, this place is fantastic. The best Caribbean food I have ever had. Althea is a super sweet lady, that makes you feel very welcome, and she is incredibly enthusiastic about her food and service. This meal was the highlight of my month, and Althea was the highlight of my year so far!!
The Real Deal. This place is the real deal. The owner/cook is very pleasant and welcoming. She can also really cook. We have only been there once but everything was great; zuchini bread, fish tea (soup), ox tails, brown stewed chicken, jerked chicken, rice and pease, braised cabbage. One word of cautiion; it took a while to get in and out so maybe not the best option if you are in a hurry. If you want a taste of good Jamaican cooking, as if your own mother was Jamaican, this is the place.

This place is awesome!!!. I absolutely love this place!! Althea is such a nice lady, welcoming every customer and calling them by name. Her food is incredible. The Jerk Chicken, Stew Chicken and Zucchini/Banana bread are amazing. My daughter is a picky eater but loved her stew chicken as well as the peas and rice. We will definitely be going back.
