Excellent Sushi. I’ve eaten here numerous time – both takeout and eat in; by myself and with others, and I’ve never been dissatisfied. I typically do the shrimp set, however I’ve wandered away from that every now and then and everything has always been great. It’s moderately priced and well worth it. As a sidenote, I’ve had sushi from numerous other places from supermarkets to higher-end Japanese restaurants and I find Sushi Yami to be just as good (if not better) than all of them.
The sushi here is very flavorful and very fresh. Portions are not large, but they’re tasty. The hamachi Kama app was grilled perfectly;The spicy green mussels came 5 to the order and were slightly spicy but mainly creamy morsels. The avocado salad is a perfect palate cleanser … Lots of buttery avocado chunks topped with shredded krab pieces.
OUTSTANDING. Not the cheapest but certainly not the most expensive. In the good ‘ol days we would eat here weekly. Several cheaper places later we are back for the quality. Simply cannot be matched.
Went for the first time with my grandmother who is a picky eatter, and loved it! The yami roll is amazing! Hand rolls were done perfectly. I am a avid sushi eatter and for being in the lake worth I was well surprised! Great service and reasonable prices. Like good japanese? Check it out!!

Excellent sushi and sashimi. Large portions. We had a boat fir two and it was big enough for 3. Polite nice service.
The sushi is great. had a sushi boat for one with plenty of sushi. You must try the hot sake. Great service. Definetely going again.
