Yumm. This place was awesome! We were a little wary because of the hotel, but the food was amazing and the service was friendly and attentive! Otto even passed my test of thai in that he gave me more of the jasmine rice to go home with my yellow curry. We will definitely be back to try some more goodies on the menu. HIGHLY recommend.
Great Experience. If you looked inside a shabby motel, the last thing you would expect to find is a full sized authentic thai restaurant. The menu is large and full of many options; which could be seen as a bad thing, or a good one. Thai tea, iced coffee, and wine and beer are some of his specialty beverages. The curry is a must try. Almost all menu items are spicy, but customizable. He’s also very honest, and will give his opinion on menu items if you ask him to.Otto holds his customers to the highest respect, and will always make sure you leave happy. Don’t be surprised if he remembers you if you show up again a year later, either. He is the only person working front of house, and his wife is the only person back of the house, so PLEASE be patient or eat something before you go to hold you over; good food takes time. Give Otto your business, he is grateful and deserving!
Awesome Thai food. This place has a larger menu than any other Thai resturant we have been to. Many items to choose from. Very friendly servce, very reasonable prices and did i mention the awesome food. We will be coming back here again and again

Great little Thai restaurant right off the turnpike. Disregard the shabby looking hotel it’s attached to, because the food is great!
Surprisingly great thai cuisine from proprietor Otto, a long- time thai restaurant owner in NYC, clermont , and now on Hwy 27 in Groveland at the Palace hotel. Absolutely worth the trip. Don’t let the drabby hotel interior distract you from the amazing and vast menu that Otto provides. Whether you’re a veteran thai lover or have never tried it, a trip to Thai & Friends is worth the trip.
