First and foremost the service was horrible! Some good friendly service makes food taste just a little bit better. They need all the help they can get in that department too. The Children’s plates outscored the adult entrees. We were there seated for 15 minutes before a drink order was taken. We ordered the children’s food first since service was so slow and then the waitress completely forgot to take the adults order. Drinks were never refilled and we were asked if we wanted to go boxes before we even finished our meal. Will not be returning anytime soon.
Used to be a good Greek restaurant. We went there recently and the only thing worth eating was the Greek salad. The snapper which was ordered grilled was mushy and tasteless. The greens were cold. The fried oysters had no seasoning and were tasteless as well. Even the baked potato was not cooked throughly and was hard! We claimed to management but it seemed to fall on deaf ears. I’ve had better food at Captain Dee’s and for a lot less than $50!! We will NOT be returning.
We used to love this place. It’s now over-priced, filthy, poor quality and has terrible service. We have given it multiple chances thinking it might improve. So disappointing.
Needs help. I’m a local and visit this restaurant 2 to 3 times/year, usually when invited to join others. The food it good and consistent. I can say I’ve never had a bad meal. However, the atmosphere is deplorable. Nothing about it is redeeming. Pictures attached to the wall with map pins, Tablecloths that should be rags, and the restroom! Perhaps, in previous visits I had never visited the restroom. OMG. It’s like a bad roadside gas station. Door propped open, smoky mirror, paint a mess. NO HOT WATER. So, I’m paying $28 bucks for the catch of the day and the hot water is turned off? I sincerely hope the new owner hosts a redecorating party and brings the building up to the goodness of the food. Best of luck.
Longtime Favorite. Aegean was legendary for years. Unfortunately, it is a shadow of it’s former glory. Food is okay, service is also just okay. Everything used to be great. It appears the owner is burned out. They shrunk the menu. The food isn’t that good anymore. Sad, very sad. I grew up coming here. I’m disappointed each time I go there now.
Not Our Cup of Tea. Went visited one rainy night about a month ago. The place is located in a nice corner just off the highway, it can be tough to find if you are not familiar with the area. Bottom line, we will not be going back. While the food was prepared well, we just did not like it. One of those type things where you cannot really point our any one thing that did it, it was just the whole experience. We have friends who like the place, but we will not be back.I guess if you like fried seafood, it is pretty good.
Great place. Great food, great service and great experience!! And the hostess was exceptionally exceptional!! I ordered from the specials board and my only complaint was I ate too much!!! Having lived and eaten all over Europe (snort snort lol) I highly recommend this restaurant!!
