Killer pizza. Kalamata olives, nobody does this but these guys, it’s the best.02 Jan, 2015Late, cold and still the best damn pizza in the panhandle. Late and cold were direction problems, probably my fault. Best damn pizza, is on them.

Changing my vote.. My wife and I ordered delivery from Rotolo’s last night and it was horrible. I didn’t even eat it, and threw it away. I have no idea what has happened to the quality of their food, other than it has gone way downhill. I will not be going back, or ordering from them again.13 Feb, 2014Reasonable Pizza. My wife and I have wanted to try Rotolo’s ever since it opened, and were really excited about another pizza option near to the house, but put off going after reading the reviews here on US. We finally decided to go on a rainy and cold day this week, hoping that some hot cheese and such would help keep us warm. We walked through the door and were immediately greeted by a cheerful young lady who told us to sit anywhere we wanted. I found the inside of the restaurant welcoming and I liked the decor a lot. I did find it strange that they have a hostess, but then we were told to seat ourselves, I found it stranger when she appeared at our table and was our server, and this is when the entertainment started. This poor girl has the worst case of ADHD I have ever seen, and that is saying something since I deal with it every day in my work. She forgot almost everything we asked of her, like silverware, napkins, hot sauce, drink refills….on and on. We had to get up at one point to get utensils and napkins, (if you eat here, and get her as a server the napkins and silverware are at the hostess station). It was very entertaining to watch her start to do a task, like clean a table, and then suddenly walk off to start a different chore, only to remember that she was supposed to clean tables, then she would remember we were still sitting in the restaurant and she would come by the table, only to realize we had taken matters into our own hands and gotten our own thing she forgot to get. I really found it funny…..maybe a little tragic, and was not upset at anytime about her inability to stay on task, and she is super nice and sweet, she just really needs to be medicated. I found myself wondering how many times she has to go back home to get something she forgot, only to get there, and forget where she was supposed to go, like to work? Humm, poor thing.I suppose I should talk about the food at some point. We shared the jalapeno cheese sticks and they were like Papa Johns and were pretty good, plus it was a large portion. My wife had an 8 inch pizza and I had a calzone. I thought that both were good, maybe a little better than good delivery, but nothing really special. I liked the softer crust and the sauce on the pizza was quite good. The marinara sauce served with the cheese sticks and calzone had a nice little kick from pepper, and no sweetness whatsoever. I am not sure if I will go back or not, but I will not complain if someone decides that is where we are going. I think I could have a good time watching football there on a Saturday or Sunday with a cold beer in the bar, and their sandwiches look really good.
