Had a break from seafood while on 30E Cape San Blas… their 1/2 pound hamburger was very good and tasty… plenty of food! One of us subbed in onion rings for the fries; that was a good choice.Cone Heads is one of the few places to eat on the Cape. Great service today! Worth the visit.
Maybe it’s that I’m at one of the most beautiful stretches of isolated beach on the planet or maybe it was being told that this joint serves the best fish sammiches ever….. but I must say, my grilled fish sandwich was SUPERB. Cooked to perfection, perfectly seasoned….. even the bread choice was THE BEST. I have added pictures to this review, but do not have an image of MY plate…. since the plate was all that was left….and I was considering chewing on that. My crew also had the fried fish sammich, some fried cheese sticks, as well as the fried shrimp plate…. and while all of these were very tasty, I can’t rave enough about the grilled filet. You will do yourself a disservice if you don’t make at a minimum TWO meals at this place…. convenient, fairly inexpensive (I’d have paid more for the plate I had!) and laid back…. a staple for the area, always a local recommendation. Beat a path….. perfect..5 stars for what it is….I eat here every time I’m on the cape…
