Smelled like a port-o-potty. My friend ordered a beer and it was delivered in a glass with pink lipstick on it… He does not wear lipstick. Waiter could not answer any questions about their menu. Food was okay but not great. I had fish tacos and they were unimpressive. Will not go back.
We had a terrible experience here and would not reccomend it at all… waited 15 mins for the waitress to come and take our DRINK order then eventually come back for our food order, we ordered 2 mixed seafood platters i forget the name, whilst we waited for our food another sloppy waitress served the table next to us they had been waiting even longer than we had, (even though it wasnt busy) the guy said to the waitress are you having a good day, she said no im here and im tired and i dont want to be here ive got kids at home and a pile of laundry and continued to complain for a few minutes, which i thought was terrible then she said what do u want any way, which having worked in hospitality most of my life i was horrified, eventually our waitress arrived with shrimp and fries… we had ordered a mixed platter so we told her straight away, she said well just eat that and i will get him 2 cook you the other stuff u didnt get, im like wait, i said so eat HALF OF MY DINNER and then have the rest after, thats not how i want to eat, i said if u take this back and serve it all together that would be better (remember the customer is always right) she ummmed and ahhed and walked away, so having waited forever with still no food and no refil of our drinks, we simply left, i refuse to pay for food we did not eat and that wasnt right, for some of the worst service we had and an empty stomach.
The atmosphere was nice and laid back and the staff was friendly and attentive. However, the food and drinks are a bit over priced, especially since it’s likely pre-packaged and frozen (I ordered scallops and was told they were only available fried).
The food was good and the service was good. The seating is good. Good views. The prices are a bit steep. Nothing weird happened while I was there. Nice place.
The Dockside Cafe is Fido friendly which is why we ended up dining here. It is at the marina, and has several outdoor eating areas. Our server was friendly and efficient, even bringing our dogs water. I had a crab cake which was good, but seemed pricey being that it was the size of a small pancake. The grouper poboy was on the thin side as far as the filet. While the view and service were great the food lacked the wow factor for the money.
My wife and myself split the smoked tuna tip appetizer and the Fried Grouper Cheeks special. It was all very good and we had a great view with outside seating. Would come back and try more dishes when I have more of an appetite!
Food not was advertized in menu. Ordered grilled jerk shrimp. Got boiled shrimp dipped in some kinda seet sauce. Told owner, he said it was grilled. No grill taste or marks on shrimp.
