I have been on a work vacation with the family (to include our dog) so when we saw that they offered dog friendly dining, we went. The menu is was pretty much what youd expect for coastal tourist fare. Goofy names for the staples of shrimp, fish, and oysters. The roadside sign advertised the shrimp and grits as the best , so we tried that. I also tried the fish tacos. Both dishes were tasty and we were upsold the signature fried pickles, which were good, but were in fact fried pickles. All in all, a good choice, especially with our rambunctious 60 pound bulldog….. but the sticker shock brought my overall experience down a bit. 135.00 out the door seems a bit high for four entrees, some sweet tea and the aforementioned fried pickles. My wife had two special martinis, though, to make me more tolerable…. and while I am willing to pay some for her not to kill me in my sleep, I still cant decide how we broke a hunnert and then some. I didnt even go inside, so perhaps those accommodations would soften that blow, but the deck with bench seating picnic tables left me thinking we shoulda spent about 50 dollars less….your mileage may vary.

A Tuesday night and the wait was quite understated :/ the hostess. They were busy with probably 39 people sitting outside and told us it was 45 minutes about 1 hr and 15 minutes later got in. Servers are really friendly but not much urgency to get customers food and drinks quickly. We were 3 adults 2 kids and somehow group pf 17 people seated minutes before us were being served much quicker. Kind of sad service. The kids had the mac and cheese burger. The best food they have ever eaten according to them. I had fish tacos. They were good. My wife had Po boy.. shrimp good but bread old tasting. My mother in law had Blacken Grouper Sandwich was a 4 out of 5. Overall worth stopping if they ate not busy.
Went last night and had a very good meal. Husband got the ribs and I got the pork sandwich. Both were tasty and tender. Cole slaw was unique but very good. Loved the Gouda grits! Our server was very efficient and friendly. We spoke to another server who was also very nice and friendly. Great staff. Only downside was watching the owner go behind the bar and pour himself 4 glasses of wine and then go hangout with two tables while the restaurant got very busy. Reminded me of an episode of bar rescue watching this.
Last year when we were in Port St Joe Krazyfish was not yet open. The food did not disappoint! The tequila lime shrimp tacos were very tasty and filling. My wife and myself also split the quarter wedge salad. Best salad I had all trip!
