Love, love, loved the cafe! I dined here this week with my husband and my 90 year old father. We were welcomed right away to the sound of live music at the keyboard. How wonderful and rare to find these days! The display of art work and the whimsical, eclectic musical instrument collection gave us great joy as we dined. Our fellow diners were a diverse mix of young professionals as well as the 55 and older crowd. Everyone was made to feel like part of the family. The food was delicious as well as affordable. Special of the day, blue crab quiche was superb. We just called to make Friday night reservations as well. Can’t wait!
They were a little understaffed, but my wife’s chicken/bacon sandwich was phenomenal! I had a Detroit coney, which comes with mustard and onion, which I was not told when I asked… Definitely recommend the chicken/bacon sandwich over anything else! Atmosphere is nice, it is filled with photos and paintings made by the owners. Definitely worth a visit for a quaint lunch, so long as you don’t mind pretentious hippy types trying to appear intelligent by regurgitating whatever their literature professor said at the local community college.
