Visiting Miami from Boston nice setting, nice clean place but the food was at best okay. The Chili Con Queso was yellow/orange and certainly tasted as bad as it looked…..What happened to traditional White Queso Laredo? The taco’s my son and I ate were at best okay. My wife’s said her steak fajita was good. It’s just not authentic and our server did not provide anything we asked for but kept saying okay! Ugh :(.

We started with the hongos tacos of grilled portabello mushrooms in balsamic glaze with goat cheese, roasted red pepper and queso fresco ($13.29 at dinner and $10.29 at lunch). I really enjoyed the texture of the black beans and the rice was superb. I never tried micro cilantro before and it added the perfect taste to the dish. miamiculinarytours.com
Not worth the money. Overpriced. Taco bell has more flavor and color. Beer was warm. Nothing special about the food. Dirty bathrooms and floor of restaurant. Decor is deceiving looks nice but this place sux. Other restaurants in gulf stream are all good and worth the trip. This is poorly managed and a poor chef
It’s all good!. So your not in Mexico, but you want Mexican! More importantly you want good service and food! Cantina Laredo is both! Depending on your expectations, or better yet, go there with no expectations, and you will leave happy. My visit last Friday evening (11/15) was a great experience. Food was well above the average local Mexican fare. Margaritas were mixed in the proper ratio, and the Beer was cold.Both managers, (General Mgr. & the lovely Assistant Mgr.) stopped by our table to ensure everything was up to par. With management like that how could you not be successful?Although there is no official entertainment, I was entertained by the preparation of Guacamole at the tables, and the look of anticipation on the diners faces who where ready to sample it’s flavors. Did I mention the premium Tequila’s? Yea, it’s all good!

Go else where! After hearing one hr wait time for a table, we decided to sit at the bar. Bartender took our drink order but didn’t bother asking if we interested in ordering food or evening asking if we wanted chips. After ordering, she had to return and ask us 3 times for the correct order. We where interested in the guacamole appetizers from past reviews but where told it might take 15 mins. OK but after 40 mins waiting our food came out first. We where very displeased and cancel the appetizer. During the wait, I had order a another beer, which she forgot to bring also. Well, I order the Camaron poblano dinner which brought steak and shrimp. Steak was actually good but shrimp where awful and tasted old. This place was costly and margaritas though made strong tasted less desirable. Been to other Mexican restaurants with better experience and less costly than this one. My option for the high price, mediocre food and poor service, will not return to this again.
