We have been going to chef Anthony’s for years and always have enjoyed the crunchy french toast with all different sides. This place is a staple for us everytime we come in from Chicago. We always look forward to his food and conversation. Any negative reviews please just ignore. They don’t know what good food is.Wendee
Ellen joy. I’m going to have to disagree with the previous review. I have attended chef Anthony’s restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner. For breakfast I had the most amazing French toast I’ve ever had. It had a sweet and crunchy texture cause it had been breaded in a secret ingredient. Outstanding! For lunch I had the open faced brisket sandwich which was divine. And guess what was served on the side. Mashed potatoes. And I felt they were darn good potatoes. For dinner I had the Eggplant Rolatini’s served with a side of pasta topped with the best marinara sauce I’ve ever had. Now I am Italian, and I eat my pasta al dente. The previous review stated that their pasta was undercooked. No, it was al dente. The dinner was a complete dinner served with an excellent pasta fagioli soup and fresh coffee with a slice of decadent raspberry nut cake. I have been there several times and will continue to attend this CHEF’S restaurant!! I give it five stars and two thumbs up!!
