Flashback was a horrible Flashback experience. Walked in with 4 hungry children, spoke to the hostess, dinner for 5. She acknowledge me. Gentlemen came in after me with a party of 6. Then Bob party of 5. The hostess came back and asked again how many in my party 3 times. While she sat f Kelly party of 6, Bob party of 6 and others. My 7 year old asked, why are they taking so long? I DON’T KNOW? Couldn’t be because we were the only BLACK people besides the Help (waitress, Busman). 10 min later sat us in a booth, slow waitress made the worst oreo milk shakes. Food took forever. I miss the old management, younger, friendlier people. The older hostesses are living in the old past of Old Florida…. that is not what Flashback should have. Even a 7 year old can see!! Won’t be back. Also left a great tip.
Downhill. Also I hadn’t gone by since they remodel & I don’t think I’ll go back. Food is disgusting & leaves you hungry for the amount of money you spend for dinner. Waste of time & money. Your better of at IHOP.09 Mar, 2015Gross…Never again!. I ordered a fried chicken dinner, it was greasy the mashed potatoes were dry no gravy. Also ordered a Philly steak the bread was soggy & so were the fries and lastly the mozzarella sticks were very cold, this was a to go order & nobody knew where my order was or who took it. I will never go there again.
Wait can be long, but pretty solid diner food for a good price with a unique atmosphere. service is hit or miss though.
DISGUSTING menu with a DISGUSTING staff. I’ve given this place numerous times to change my mind and each time the staff just adds fuel to the fire. Why is everyone so miserable and unfriendly? Maybe because they’re ashamed of the food their serving? Who knows. Save your money.
Typical diner. Went to Flashback on election day and boy was it busy! The clientele that day consisted primarily of blue-hairs and we have young children so I was wondering if we had come to the right place. I was pleasantly surprised that once we were seated and although it was packed, we were served by a very nice and efficient waitress. It took a little while to get our food once we had ordered, but it was all very good but nothing was extraordinary. I had the turkey dinner, which was listed under the sandwich section of the menu, but the waitress said that it does not come as a sandwich which I thought was a little strange. It didn’t matter because it was pretty good. My husband thought the corned beef sandwich was average and my children enjoyed their pancakes. I noticed the table next to us had ordered chicken noodle soup and it looked like the thing to order with nice thick noodles and big chunks of chicken. All in all I think if we were in Hollywood and wanted some diner food we would definitely go back
Horrible. I always see the parking lot full so I figured the food had to be good. Wrong! The fish and chips were horrible. The quality of the fish was horrible, and was so greasy that they were served in a puddle of oil. We also ordered the Mahi sandwich but it was very dry. The french fries were amazing but the mac and cheese was flavorless. The manager was unhelpful and lacked any customer service. The waitress was extremely friendly. The desserts did look amazing when you come in the door. Not worth going to from my opinion.
Excellent service! A great change from the $50 breakfast at the resorts. The breakfast here is solid and the price is hard to beat $7.99 for eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast and coffee. You’ll be hard pressed to find better!
