The most authentic Mexican taqueria we have tried in Miami (Mexican music included – Coral Gables Location) and they recently opened 1 more location in Hallandale Beach. They offer a great variety of tacos, sides and sauces, as well as salads for those who want to avoid those extra calories. Its a place where you can hang out and eat with some friends, not a place to take someone out on a first date. miamismith.com

Great place for Mexican. This is a great Mexican restaurant in Hallandale Beach, FL. It looks small from the outside, but when you go in, there is ample seating with tables and bar stools. We went there on a Friday night around 6:30pm. We were kinda hesitant, b/c it was mostly empty. But after we sat and ordered, the place became packed (glad we got there early). Had several items on the menu including the fried cheese, pastor, shrimp tacos and braised pork. Everything is fresh (open kitchen) and you can see the person rolling out the corn tortillas on the machine. Will recommend and will be back soon.
