Generous pizza portions sold by the slice. Lots to choose from, meat, veggie, Sicilian. Hardest part is choosing what to eat. I usually over order when I cant decide and get 3 different slices. 1 is enough to fill you, 2 will get you stuffed and the 3rd you can take home or share. The space is small and gets crowded at peak lunch times so be prepared for a line. It’s also very popular w families and often over ridden with giant strollers. They serve soda and bottled water but no alcohol. However, if you want a change of scenery, get that pizza to go and walk over to The Hub bar. They welcome outside food in their dingy dark smoky bar, and you can enjoy a tall boy PBR and shot of whiskey with your slice. Just sayin.
Hands down, best pizza I’ve ever had. Super quick service and large portions. Stuffed after 1 slice. Highly recommend the chicken parm pizza. Loaded with chicken parm and ricotta. Simply amazing.
Great Pizza. Went in for lunch. Ordered a small Hawaiin PIzza. Was able to eat it for lunch and dinner. It was sooo good. Can’t wait to go back and try different pizzas.
Maybe it was because the night I went they were very busy but I ordered two slices of cheese pizza and they came to me burned on the bottom. I don’t mind a little black on the crust but when the smokiness dominates the flavor of the pizza that’s not something I’m looking for. Not too inclined to go back.
Justified cravings. Are cravings an exclusive privilege of the definitely pregnant? If that is the case I am psychologically with child and my babys father is either Eddie or Sam. Our affair began two years ago when I was an elementalist. (*check urban dictionary for Tampalites) I had just moved away from the complex idiosyncrasy of my island and felt elated. I was and am truly, madly, and deeply in love with South Tampa. But I felt lonesome. One day as I walked around the block I saw the crowded pizzeria in the corner. The line pushed against the front door, yet people kept coming in and out all happy as the line kept forming and moving. People carrying pizza boxes into cars… GQ suited men sat outside under the sun balancing that perfect triangle of yummy in their hands. A stiff crunchy triangle that defied gravity. The men careful not to lose any of the melted cheese or the tomato sauce. Gulping each round pepperoni at a time (because unless you use and knife and fork you are bound to be uncompromisingly eating the pepperoni as if it is popcorn.) N.Y. style pizza read the sign. In Tampa? Oh, really? Leary of the men who have crowded my life, I walked in to meet this Eddie and Sam. I was greeted by lots of men behind a very small counter. How do they fit in there? I tried to figure out who was who but promptly became distracted by the rows of diverse pizza pans lined up as if about to break into a dance/song rendition of Be Our Guest. Which one to choose? Each pie slices pleading pick me! Pick me! I stumbled with words and managed to commit to a pepperoni slice and a Grandma. Again, I am a compulsive taster. I ordered a Bianca to go… for later…an hour later. I believe I fell in love with both Eddie and Sam because they go together so perfectly. Unlike most men, they promise and deliver. They are not too good to be true. They are what you see is what you get…and I love what I see and what I get every time. I have tasted all of their pizzas because we had a pizza party composed of two slices of every pie they sell. There were six of us gluttons sitting on the floor amidst moving boxes. There was pizza on the dining room table and on two barstools. Food debauchery is an understatement. But debauchery must be part of love some times… Mine is a love child. My mental pregnancy justifies my cravings.
Eddie and Sams. Best pizza in Tampa Bay but could use a little more oregano flavor in the sauce.
Best in Tampa!. I’m a native New Yorker and have eaten at some of the best pizzerias. Eddie and Sam’s has an amazing tasting slab of pizza. I love this place!!
