Little mom and pop just before the causeway. Don’t be scared away by the appearance, tons of locals here. The construction on the road made it difficult to pull in but it was worth the effort. The birthday girl waitress was friendly and attentive.2 eggs over easy, sausage patties, grits, Cuban toast.The sausage patties are hand formed and tasty. But the must have is the Cuban toast!!! So toothy, crispy and delicious. The grits were salted well.Really liked the coffee, so much better than what I expected from a diner. I drink mine black, this is legit.My buddy Jason Saltsman got the bacon, 4 slices!! He said it was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing
Overpriced.. For what it is, this restaurant is incredibly overpriced. Anything on their menu should be sold cheaper, and driving less than two minutes in any direction will definitely bring you to a restaurant more deserving of your money. The crab cakes are so-so (very overpriced), the service is god awful, and their sweet tea tastes like dirty water.
