TERRIBLE. I can only think that the good reviews on this site must have been written by friends/family of the owners. I ordered a dark roast coffee and a bagel and received a cup of tasteless watery dark swill and a stale bagel…and for the prices they charge they don’t even put the cream cheese on the bagel! I will never set foot in that place again.
Way better than Starbucks!. I stopped by this place with some students during the Thespians State Drama Competition and we all absolutely fell in love with it. The coffee was so good that we had to go back again another day despite our busy schedules. The servers were so friendly and the place was adorable. The server recommended the Iced Gingerbread latte, and I reluctantly agreed to try it despite being underwhelmed by the Starbucks version. It was delicious – just the right about of smooth coffee flavor and sweet and spicy without being disgustingly sugary. This place will definitely be a must see when we go back to competition this year!
Worst coffee place ever DONT GO. Come to Indigo if you want to be served decaf instead of regular coffee because they’re out and don’t want to tell you or if you want dark roast coffee instead of espresso. If you want milk for you latte from the last latte they made 45 minutes ago sitting in the pitcher on the counter. Do you really want to pay $4 for old milk with 2 shots of just regular coffee they’re trying to pass as espresso? If you want a pastry that has been sitting in a container in the back for 4 days. If you want a place that doesn’t even offer a small size then come to Indigo where the owner is clearly a dishonest cheap who doesn’t care about his customers. This place is N-A-S-T-Y.
Best coffee in Tampa. As an admitted coffee snob, I’m picky about my coffee places. I go to Starbucks, but only because 7-11 and gas station coffee is horrific. Finding a place like Indigo is heavenly, and its coffee is absolutely a must try for anyone marginally serious about their coffee.
Great coffee!. I have been looking for a spot that not only beats starbucks in ambiance and price, but in taste as well. Indigo coffee is that spot. Right in the middle of downtown tampa, Indigo offers the best dark roast coffee I have had in ages. Throw in some rather tasty coffee cakes and you might just have the best coffee spot in Tampa
Good coffee. Nice dark roast. clean with an attentive staff. Had an outstanding pumkin muffin. baked goods all looked very fresh. local feel.
