Best Mother’s Day Present!! :). I went for the Mother’s Day Brunch Cruise on Sunday, May 12th. It was the best buffet I have ever had! They had heaping portions of Jumbo gulf shrimp, prime rib, salad, fruit and literally a jumbo tray of crispy bacon. It was delicious. Also, their coffee was some of the best I have ever had. Our server was amazing. She came out with one of the coffee bags for me to show me what they use and was very prompt and nice. The cruise was the perfect amount of time as well. It was enough for brunch, dessert and some time for a little bit of dancing and picture taking on the upstairs deck. We had a blast and it made my first Mother’s Day very special 🙂

Fun trip around Harbor Island accompanied by so so food. Book early if you want a decent table, or you might sharing your dinner with a buffet line. If weather is good, it’s a good time overall.

Buffet Style Dining. Buffet style dining was highly disappointing. Rice pilaf was uninspired while the prime rib appeared to be moving. Would have preferred the prime rib to be more medium rare. Desserts appeared to be of the same style and flavor as some of those no-bake Jell-O boxes found in your local megamart. I was struggling to find the lime in the key lime pie. Wait staff was extremely pleasant and attentive. Yacht decor appeared to be stuck in the late 80’s or early 90’s. I would never consider bringing family or friends on this dinner cruise. Save your money and dine somewhere else.

What a Way to Dine!. I was treated to dinner on Yacht Starship for my birthday. Dining on this yacht provides a unique experience with just the right amount of opulence to make you feel really special. One thing to be prepared for there are a lot of additional charges to the standard pre fixe menu. Drinks are extra, even soft drinks. And coffee. Appetizers are extra, as are certain entres, such as the filet mignon. The final total, dinner including tip cost twice as much as the basic charge. That said; was it worth it? Yes. Definitely. The dining room is elegantly appointed. Tables are impeccably set. Service is professional and efficient. And the food is superb. The menu boasts a variety of choices. Between courses you may wander upstairs to the lounge area. There are tables and chairs set on the open deck so you may enjoy the view of Tampa Bay. After dinner a DJ takes over and there is dancing in the second floor dining room.

Great experience!. My daughter surprised me with a dinner cruise on the Starship to celebrate Father’s Day. In the past, I had heard about these dinner cruises, but actually purchasing one and going had never been on my radar… so the gift was an awesome surprise. But the experience was even better. Much like their bigger cruise ship cousins, the Starship staff was centered around excellent customer service. They were friendly, professional, and attentive to ensuring that we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was awesome… I never realized how lovely the Tampa harbor was… and the ship was clean and well equipped. They have a beautiful dining deck with awesome 360 views, a lounge deck complete with dancing and big screen TV, and an upper deck with plenty of seating. This was my favorite… as the fresh air, sunset, and beautiful skyline combined for a magical cruise. This is a gift that I will return to many times… and that I will treat my friends and family to whenever I have an opportunity.

Great!. I went to a friend’s wedding on the yacht a couple of months ago and my friends and I still talk about it. It was beautiful! The food and service were great and the atmosphere was really romantic. My husband and I are planning on going there for our anniversary in a couple of months to try the regular dinner cruise!
