  BEWARE!! LA BELLA NAPOLI customers:Do not wear or carry anything into this restaurant that is new, valuable, or treasured!! I went toLa Bella Napolirestaurant with a group of friends. During lunch, the waitress said to watch out b/c there was spilled oil on the floor behind us. When I went to pay, I got my purse from the back of the chair only to find that there was oil dripped down the front of it. I showed it to the waitress and she apologized and left????? So Iasked to see the mgr or owner. Another waitress came out to talk to me saying the owner was busy. She looked at my purse, gave me her name and number and told me they would pay for the cleaning. I finally found a local dry cleaners that sends leather goods away to the east coast to be cleaned and got an estimate. I went to the restaurant and showed the purse to the owner and told him it might cost about $100 for the cleaning and it was charged whether they got it out or not.He again referred me to the waitress.The waitress called to say that she couldnt afford topay forthis…huh? I told her it was the restaurants liability and he should contact his insurance co. She asked if I would be willing to pay 1/2 as she was just a poor waitress. I said no…its the owners responsibility. I finally was able to talk directly to the leather cleaner and wastold that it would probably look worse after treatment and was no doubt ruined. I called the owner again! He told me that replacing my purse was out of the question and that if he was going to buy a purse for a woman, it would be his wife. Really?? It is a Coach pursecost=$395.He said he wouldcall his insurance co. and ask,and call me back—he never called.The purse isa saddle bag design and the oil is dripped right down the front of it, so its very noticeable.SO BEWARE!!

  Bad attitude. We had reservations for 4. We waited outside in the cold for nearly an hour without any concern from the management even though we had a friend of ours in a wheelchair. We finally left….we have eaten there before and the food is not bad…but the attitudes are terrible and we will not return. Absolutely no concern for the customer…the matre d was completely hostile to myself when I checked in for our reservation and comments were made as I was leaving under their breath. When another member of our party went in to check on our reservation, the same was done to her. Insulting! We went to Brian’s restaurant on the beach and had a lovely meal there!

  FANTASTIC ITALIAN FOOD!. LaBella Napoli has the BEST Italian food I have EVER had! Also a very nice atmosphere with great service. Chef Umberto will make anything the customer wants even if it is not on his extensive menu. I highly reccommend the Veal Siciliano, which is a combo. Veal and Eggplant Parm with Prochute. Why not have the best of all worlds? The sauce and even the Pasta is divine and authentic Italian. I also reccommend the Checken Cacciatore. HUGE portions that taste great even re-heated the next day!! My wife and I HIGHLY siggest this Rest. You will NOT be sorry! Reservations suggested. Wife Jeanne makes many of their incredible desserts also highly reccommended!
