Eh.. Ordered the chicken cordon bleu. It was like the frozen packaged product that barber food makes. I used to make it all the time back in the college days. The big tell was the completely uniform pressed and processed chicken. You can buy it yourself at any grocery store in the freezer section. Came with instant mashed potatoes that had been thinned too much and not salted at all. My wife and I were positive the bread was the Italian loaf you get at wal-mart, which is good bread. However, I don’t go out to a restaurant to have frozen isle section chicken, instant mash potatoes, and store bought bread. It was served with a salad made with iceberg lettuce and the tomatoes were too ripe (mushy and not crisp). The service was good, but not good enough to overcome the lackluster food.

Would not recommend. We like to support Mom & Pop establishments but we can not recommend this restaurant. A moldy old home converted into a restaurant. The food was awful. Iceberg lettuce salad with cheap commercial dressing, soup which tasted like doctored up can soup. Entrees which might be homemade but didn’t taste fresh. Mashed potatoes which tasted liked watered down instant. Dining room was empty on a Sat. night.

This is a small restaurant off the beaten path that serves authentic German & Polish food. All entrees include soap and salad along with a nice bread basket and entree with sides. This is NOT a burger joint and the prices range from $8 to $15 per entree.
