I am not big on pizza, but I LOVE Rocco’s Pizza. So far my top favorites are the penne vodka and chicken parm. Their chicken knot is good too..My only tip is don’t waste your money and get a salad, their salad’s are a bit sad and generic.Atmosphere is clean, always busy you wait a little bit for your food so it isn’t a place for a quick lunch unless you call in and get take out.
My wife and I recently went to Rocco’s with another couple for pizza. Both if us ordered a large cheese pizza the only difference was that my wife and I ordered a 12 ounce bottle of domestic beer (Yuengling) each the other couple ordered water. The pizza was fabulous but when we received our bill we were charged $4.00 each for one bottle of beer. Although We realize every business has overhead expenses that same beer that I pay $18.00 for a case of 24 bottles @ a charge of $4.00 a bottle that comes to $96.00 a case for the same beer. An $82.00 profit for Rocco’s. In conclusion although the pizza was good we will never go there again.
Worst food I’ve ever had. I don’t like to complain, so I didn’t, but this was the worst meal I’ve ever had. I don’t mean that in a bitchy way.. I mean quite literally, it was the worst food I’d ever had. The Italian wedding soup was flavorless and had a very bad texture. The meatballs in it tasted like canned soup meatballs, only canned soup has more flavor. The chicken franchese was HORRIBLE. I got it with penne, which must have been soaking in water for a very long time, as it was mushy. The chicken was rubbery.. and the sauce was not only gross, but they drown the meal in it so that it was almost a soup in the dish. I had higher hopes after hearing it was good, but it was really horrible. Add to that, there was about 6 or 7 employees standing around being loud and not doing very much. We won’t return.
Good Italian Food. Excellent pizza and classic dishes from Italy. Service is good too:)
Awesome pizza. The first time i was there the pizza was fabulous, i must say the girl behind the counter was very unfriendly when i asked how much it was she wouldnt make eye contact with me so i couldnt understand her, she must not like her job, otherwise the food was awesome enough to go back for more.
Excellent food and nice atmosphere. Rocco’s is new to the neighborhood and it is a welcome addition. The food is great and the friendly service is a big plus. The pasta is great. The Knot sandwiches are great – very garlic, but delicious.
