Eat at roadhouse weekly. Last 30 days at texarkana tx, joplin mo, Dallas/ft worth, and Pensacola fl. Last night got a to go in Brooksville fl. The bread came with no butter. There was no silverware, no salt and pepper. Loaded baked potato had no butter, no sour cream, no cheese. French and blu cheese were the ordered dressing and the was no French dressing. As someone with years in the restaurant business this would indicate poor management with poor employee training. Would not.return to this location even though the steak was excellent. Many restaurants serve a good steak.
Great food great prices however sitting at the bar when the red headed bartender is working will result in slow service and over indulgent in requested conversation from her. Although she is nice overall she is a poor server.
Real Steak House. The only Steak House in the area that knows how to cook a rare steak! (Carrabbas makes a nice rare Sirloin Marsala but they are not a steak house.) Only one complaint – it can be noisy. On the days we want peace and quite we will go else where – Carrabbas?. But for the most part the noise does not bother us. The hand cut steaks are very tender and tasty, and like I said they know how to make a RARE one. Don’t forget, if it has a bone in it, they do not cut them there and they are not necessarily the best choice. I usually get the 24 oz (not on the menu, just order it) sirloin, it is such a good piece of meat, yum, makes a good meal the next day. A good app is the snake bites, a type of stuffed jalapeo that bites back, I usually like to save room for my steak. The service staff seem quite happy and for the most part very attentive, even at their busiest. Meagan(sp) – one of the managers – is worth her weight in gold. She will make anything right if need be, and quickly. Even if you don’t have problems you will probably meet her. She buzzes around that restaurant checking on all the tables. It is such a pleasure having this kind of service for a change. We will spend many more nights there, I am sure. Too bad they don’t have the Texas Red any more….
My husband and have been to texas road house several times the food has been great each time.it is usually busy but well worth the wait.
Great Dinning. Food was very good. Staff was happy and seemed to realy like being there. This was the first time at a Roadhouse and we will go back . Glad to find out thiers one in my home town.
Great food, but….. Loud, small booths and not enough tables. Unless you are a small person you will be very uncomfortable in these booths. The music was so loud, combined with all the people talking & laughing, that the waitress couldn’t hear us talk when giving our order. Kind of nerve racking for us. But, some people don’t mind that, I guess, since it always looks crowded there. Just thought you should be forewarned. We haven’t been back since that one time. We like the more quiet places to eat.
Best steaks in town and free nuts! Great atmosphere
