Our favorite place for the family to eat–we stop whenever we are going through High Springs (which isn’t often enough! 😉 The desserts are heavenly, and the sandwiches are top notch–tasty and made with care.Only want to note that this webpage has their old address–the restaurant has moved from the small side street out onto the west/north bound lane ofHighway 441.
Me and my wife love the great-tasting sandwiches and the nice atmosphere at the Station. Their new location nearby on 441 is very nice with several more tables for guests compared to the tiny eating area at their previous location. I can’t wait to go back for another Station Special followed by a slice of homemade delicious cake!

The Station Bakery. Delicious desserts! Best specialty cakes around! The Chocolate Torte Cake is the most delicious (should be award-winning) cake I’ve ever tasted. We order it for birthdays throughout the year and people always comment on how good it is. Ordering one for a baby shower in a couple of weeks. Delish!
This is undoubtedly the best cafe in town. The people are genuine-classic southern hospitality! You can come in for lunch, they serve sandwiches and such. Their desserts are delicious, Words cannot even explain. Oh yeah, there is homemade lemonade as well… A must try!
Best Place to Eat in High Springs. The Station Bakery is tucked away just off Main Street in High Springs and while it is no secret that they have some of the most delicious baked goods around, most people do not know that they also serve Dinner on Friday and Saturday nights. Many locals also get sandwich lunches from the Station where Boar’s head meats & cheeses and fresh baked bread make it well worth the potential waiting time. The dinners are home cooking but better and at a really great price, only ~$9! There are three standard menu items and a special. A couple of days after moving to High Springs my wife and I stumbled upon the bakery and have gone there for dinner every Friday night now for almost 2 years. The family that runs the Station are the salt of the earth and make every trip delightful. Laura, the daughter, is known for her addictive cakes and the husband and wife make excellent cookies, fudge, and pralines. They also make fresh lemonade to order, fresh peanut butter, kettle corn, and an assortment of breakfast cakes. DeConna ice cream is also available for those looking to cool down after a hot day. If you are in a hurry and are getting a to-go order it is advised to call about 20min ahead especially during peak lunch/dinner hours. Everything is fresh and wonderful and the owners are a blast, which is why the Station Bakery and Cafe is our favorite place to eat.
