Lack of service. I saw the menu online and read reviews. I thought it would be worth a try while in town for a couple days. There was live music on the patio. I asked the server and was directed to seat myself. After ten minutes and realizing other patrons on the patio also had not seen a server I left.
Eat here!!. Food was awesome. We got the coconut shrimp for an app. I got macadamia nut crusted Chilean Sea Bass… Amazing. My wife had the blackened salmon pasta. Both were amazing were coming back for sure.
Owner Doesn’t Care About Customers. We had a number of incidents that wrong throughout the night. We tried talking to the owner who could care less. As a local, I’m not returning. Arrogant owner who when you tell him about a bad experience tells you to your face he doesn’t care, you know better than ever return. Staff would not send the manager to the table after requesting several times. Very weird, like they are covering up for something. Think twice. We won’t be back.01 Jan, 2015Owner Doesn’t Care About Customers. We had a number of incidents that wrong throughout the night. We tried talking to the owner who could care less. I had dinner there last night and the fish was cooked perfectly! Rice was done right and the crab cake was fantastic. Service was attentive without being overbearing. I would definitely recommend.
Food and service was fantastic! Loved the live band playing on Friday night. My husband could cut his filet with a fork, just melted in your mouth! General manager greeted us and actually sent us home with dessert! Highly recommend and will definitely be back!
Outside of Westchase this probably has to be one of Tampas best kept secrets. I have been visiting Catch ever since we moved to the area. 9 years ago. The food has always been fresh and excellent. Rob the owner keeps evolving the menu and has a great mixture of Carribean inspired dishes. The Macadamia encrusted Chilean Seabass is a must. Always great deals on one of the weeknights.
More like catch 22… They are very fond of using large quantity of grease… My fish was dry greasy and over cooked, I changed my order to salmon Alfredo and that too had tons of oil and no flavor… Presentation of the entrees were undesirable.. If I pay top money on an entree, it needs some kind of sexiness to it… Not greasy and bland… I tip cause the server was nice and my wine bread and water was great…. Very disappointed for my bday/fathers day dinner.. Should’ve went to J Alexander
