The food hovers at mediocre. Having family who own multiple highly successful seafood restaurants on long island in New York, we have a great basis for comparison. While I know we are not in New York, this restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. More importantly the owner is extremely rude. I have never in my life been treated so rudely by any restaurant owner as I was at this restaurant. He could care less whether or not you enjoy your food or service. He would rather ask you to leave than hear any issues or problems. There are too many choices in restaurants nor is the the food so exceptional that I would ever set foot in this restaurant again. Just for the record, I have NEVER had a similar experience ANYWHERE.

Everything at this restaurant is spicy oriented. I went with my family several times and tried to order things that didn’t mention spicy. Once I ordered a grouper sandwich thinking I would be safe. That was way too spicy although on the menu listing I would’ve had no idea. Nothing for me at this restaurant. I understand it would and should be popular with people who enjoy spicy food.

Arrived on time, seated immediately in a booth (our preference). Ordered two appetizers, lobster escargot & lobster tempura sushi. Both were unique & favorful. The rum runner, red sangria, mahi mahi with black beans & coconut rice were prepared perfectly. The beans were arguably the most tasty I’ve ever had.The place has great vibes…has the ambiance of a neighborhood brasserie. Jenna was super. Why have we been away so long?
