Hidden Treasure. My husband and I have enjoyed Marino’s a couple of times now, and both visits have been terrific. It is a tiny little place in a mostly residential area, but it is worth finding if you like great Latino food. We have ordered both pork and chicken with a variety of sides…the meats nearly melt in one’s mouth and we’ve not had one side that was less than super. The yucca and plantains are second to none. The restaurant is not fancy, and it is sort of cafeteria style if a cafeteria were the size of grandma’s kitchen, but it is a great experience nonetheless. We have always been the only English speaking customers when there, but we have never felt out of place. It has a friendly atmosphere and ordering our food in English has not been a problem.
