A SOPHISTICATED TREATThis second visit confirms our first impression–Face towers over other restaurants on Hollywood Boulevard with a masterful chef, convivial service, and stunning decor in a compact indoor/outdoor bistro for people watching.Chef Michel, from Brittany, surprises with French/fusion creations using fresh ingredients artfully presented, and comes to the table with a winning personality. The staff are equally charming and attentive. Just finished a remarkable vegetable tartars, lobster tail stuffed with crabmeat with a miniature langouste on a summer-seasoned veggie bed, and a vanilla parfait with meringue and raspberries. Also a comprehensive wine list.Several restaurants in Hollywood will serve your dog, but Only Chef Michel whips up a balanced meal for our Shih Tzu of chopped fresh chicken and vegetables.Hollywood offers few options for serious foodies, but you will be in good hands here.
Excellent food. A little pricey.. I took my wife for dinner. She wanted the duck and they were out. Not a good start for a French restaurant. However, our entrees were delicious and the service was excellent. I would probably not return simply because it was so expensive.
One of the best restaurants in South Florida. Having traveled throughout France, FACE is a finger right out of Alsace, France. The food is wonderful, the atmosphere is terrific, the management and staff are top class. I loved this restaurant and will frequent it. One of the very best!
