On Friday, Feb 23, 2018 my wife and I went to the take-out area of Florio’s and ordered the fried calamari. Listed on the wall menu was a $9.95 price. I ordered and was told it was $10.95. The girl taking the order said the price increased but they didn’t change the wall menu yet. I spoke with the day manager who also told the same. She said I should have looked at the handheld table menu which listed it for $10.95. Well, if I were sitting down I WOULD have looked through that menu but I was taking out and the wall menu was right above where I freakin’ ordered! There was no offer to give it to me at the $9.95 listed price shown so I coughed up the $10.95 and got myself a lousy bunch of clumped together fried calamari with some God-awful tomato sauce which made it even worse. Talk about poor customer service! We went back to the Hollywood Beach broadwalk the next two days and made it a point to order from neighboring restaurants who conducted their business more honestly. Either the staff is poorly trained in customer relations or the owner is in on this scam.

It took 40 minutes for food, we has to beg for refills. Our server didn’t bother telling use no free refills. At the end of the meal after flagging down the server who was mia my husband noticed gratuity was auto included. We were a party of 2 . It made sense that almost every table was neglected. Keep walking if you see this place
