You’re screwed if you’re kosher. This place has NO customer service and is not flexible at all with the menu. I couldnt even get noodles instead of rice, like EVERY other Chinese restaurant in this country. Save your money and find an alternative.
I just found this restaurant, fantastic place! Soups were delicious, steak cooked to perfection, mongolian beef was full of flavor, and to top it all off, the owner came around the restaurant checking in at each table adding a nice personal touch. The ambiance is beautiful as well with nice draperies and lighting. Highly reccomend!
The food has been very. Service has been atrocious. This owner has owned the sara’s restaurant next door with the same service problems. Call for take out. Call before pickup. Food is never ready in the 20min they claim Still. Food is good and good portions
The floor is always sticky when I walk in here. My family’s order is always wrong. The owner is difficult and defensive. The prices are steep and the food is mediocre. If this is your only option for dinner…. Go hungry.
Nice. very nice….. Instead of driving to miami beach for my wife’s birthday we decided to stay local. there were a few restaurant options but knowing the L’Chaim’s sister restaurant Sara’s (next door) reputation for great flavors and kitchen mastery we thought to try L’Chaim (i also have this thing for kosher standards, the owners are shomer shabat and very reliable). we were not disappointed ! the dishes were presented very nicely and were BIG. the flavors bursted out with distinction and the price was below average which was a really nice bonus.i was really happy – i asked my office to order the next lunch catering which was very well done. i think the Bar Mitzva will be next – cant beat this place’s quality and price.highly recommended.
Great Food. I went to the restaurant with my business partner and I wasn’t sure what to expect from a kosher chinese place. I couldn’t be happier. I had hot and sour soup and ordered crispy beef and garlic chicken – they were more flavorful than the chinese i usually have. The beef was NOT oily and the chicken was not overly garlicky like in other take out places down the street. The service was ok, but they got the job done. We told the owner it was our first time there and she brought us a free pastry desert (which was delicious). I recommend this place.
