Terrible experience mostly because of the rude behavior of their manager, by name Romulus. This person was evidently drunk and visibly agitated!.. This manager in charge refused to provide us service (??!!), which was really shocking experience. We ask the owner to fire that manager on a spot, as these people do not belong to the service enterprise.
My wife and I both had the lasagna, we make it better at home. The service is not that great for an up scale restaurant. Maybe because we’re in jeans and t shirt, sad that they judge customers by what they wear instead of concentrating on good service.
Groupon. We bought a groupon to visit this restaurant for 4 adults and called before we showed up to make reservations to make sure everything would go ok. After we placed the order the waiter informed us the filet mignon was not available. So if they tell you that you can order upto 28 dollars that’s a lie. All the other items are either much less or don’t have a price at which point he tells us prices over the groupon limit and says he can’t allow us to pay the difference. For example we wanted the ribs but they were 29 dollars and he would not less us pay the extra one dollar difference so forcing us to get a much cheaper item. That was the main complaint and the fact that the waiter tells us that they don’t make any money with the groupon and hence the reason for these rules. Personally I would not go here again or the first time based on this if I knew in advance. Also when I called to make a reservation I checked to see if they had filet mignon and they said they did. That was not nice! Oh and the place was empty so that should have said something from the start. The food was nothing special and flavorless. The pasta was terrible. I guess if you eat the bread they served with olive oil that would fill you up. 1 star tops!
Service is okay… Nice restaurant great 3 course for 9.95 at lunch, the olive dip for bread is so good, had gnocchi nice and light yup
Bad food no way do 85% like it.18 Mar, 2012Had the carbonara and it was good but my server didn’t offer or bring olive oil, or Parmesan for my pasta…nor bread until I had to ask. No salad comes with the pasta meal. Not sure I’ll come back for the price.
The service was friendly & professional, we got served quickly & the food was delicious. We had the scampi appetizer & eggplant parmegian for starters & my spaghetti & meatballs was so good!! Would certainly recommend. Very nice atmosphere, too.
