  DIRTY, BAD BURGERS, OVERPRICED DRINKS, RUDE STAFF.I am a local, and due SOLELY to OPRAH’s raving review of this place, I so wanted to have one of this famous burgers. Today is the second time I tried this restaurant. The first time was 2 years ago, and it was not a good experience. But, I still wanted to try again. I love a good burger and these people are supposed to make one. So we went today… the place was still pretty dirty, but we were able to get seated, and because they were pretty slow we actually were waited on pretty quickly. We ordered our drinks (got a warm can of coke for $3 and a warm can of Coors for $3.75), and 2 burgers: one medium rare and one medium well. While waiting for our burgers, our waiter brought the condiment basket out. The ketchup and mustard containers were disgustingly grungy as if they had not been cleaned in some time. Or ever. Just refilled and left dirty.After waiting almost 45 minutes, our burgers came, and we had our server bring condiment containers that were less grungy (but still not clean). Then we bit into our burgers: one was completely raw (not even rare – bloody raw), and the other was a total hockey puck, cooked far beyond well done. The buns also seemed stale.A $13 burger should be perfection, and these were anything but.It took several minutes to get our waiters attention… at first I was willing to pay for our drinks (I only drank a few sips of my soda), but the server tried to tell me that we ‘ate most of our burger’, which was absolutely not true and I was offended that he would respond to a valid customer complaint in such a fashion, so I asked for the manager.The manager acknowledged that the burgers were both prepared badly and did not charge us, but he didn’t address the dirtiness, the attitude of his server, or the fact that both times we tried this place the burgers – their signature item – sucked. Whomever they have in their kitchen apparently doesn’t even know how to use a meat thermometer. All he could say was ‘we’ve been in business for 41 years so we are doing something right’. I believe that they must have someone posting fake positive reviews, because nobody I know has had a positive experience there either.and they depend on first-time tourist business, not repeat business.Horrible, not worth the time or the money. Just plain disappointing.Go anywhere else for a burger.

  Ok, book a flight right now if you have to. The burgers are above and beyond anything else, so don’t even try to find a comparison. Seriously, just go. Beware: the are MASSIVE. also, the atmosphere is clearly reliant on the food because its odd to say the least lol. Your soda comes in a can, and you get up and get your water yourself
