Took the girls out last Thursday for ladies night and we had so much fun!! Fun music and the drinks were delish. Probably trying the happy hour this friday so i’m excited!
Another great dinner at Mama Mia. Visited Mama Mia last Friday. It was not a first visit we went there few times before and every time we were very pleased. The place was busy which did not surprised us. The food was amazing as always. I decided to try a Lobster & Seafood Tortelloni and my husband had Linguine in White Clam Sauce. WOOOW! So delicious! We enjoyed every bite of our meal. Our server Anthony was very friendly and professional and made sure that we are having great time. Another fantastic dinner at Mama Mia!When we were ready to leave I noticed something… There was a party in the room up stair. Some kind of rehearsal dinner. Place looked amazing with all decorations! Looked very fancy and classy. I did not know that they have a party room! Now I know and I will definitely consider it for my husband’s birthday.31 Mar, 2015Great as always!. Went there last Wednesday with my friend. We sat at the bar since we just wanted to talk having glass of wine and couple appetizers. We ordered Jumbo Meatball, Fried Calamari and Clams Casino. Super delicious. Money and time well spent. I know for sure we will keep coming back there.10 Mar, 2015Sunday fun day – amazing brunch at Mama Mia!!!!. Once again great experience! We went to Mama Mia couple months ago and we had an amazing time. So two Sundays ago we have decided to go back for some more delicious food. This time we choose brunch… I spoke to some friends and they recommended Sunday Brunch to us. We arrived around noon. Surprised again. The same like last time we went there this place was packed! This time we were lucky and we got table right away. Everything looked delicious, different stations for pasta, salad, cheeses and even sushi!!! Impossible to try it all at once. Service very good, so nice and attentive – but not annoying. Even they were super busy our server was checking on us all the time. Besides amazing food we decided to try bottomless mimosas… Such a fun afternoon. Thank you Mama Mia for giving me (again) a reason to come back! A+++03 Feb, 2015Exceeded Our Expectations…!!!. We did not expect that on Thursday night this place would be so crowded!!! We did not have a reservation… The hostess informed us that in about 20 minutes will have a table available. So we sat at the bar enjoying delicious martinis. Soon enough the table was ready for us. Can’t say enough about our dining experience at Mama Mia’s. From the appetizers (herb crusted fried mozzarella and calamari a’la Palermo), entrees (Filet Mignon Courvoisier & Seared Salmon) to the dessert (Tiramisu), everything was delicious! The wait staff and atmosphere were warm and welcoming. We were encouraged to take our time, and the manager was kind enough to stop at our table and say hello! What a place!!!! Definitely in top five on the list of my favorite restaurants! We’re looking forward to coming back and trying the veal chop parmigiana!
AMAZING AUTHENTIC ITALIAN!. Wow, stopped by because my wife works nearby, we made sure to try the jumbo herb crusted mozzarella, and man was that good, then I had a Chicken Francese and my wife had a Chicken Piccata. Needless to say we loved it, tastes authentic, fresh and homemade. Even the Marinara sauce was out of this world. We absolutely recommend this place to everyone.
Mama Mia Dinner. My husband and I were on vacation on our way to Key Largo we stopped one night in Hollywood. We had dinner at Mama Mia Italian Ristorante. The food was delicious. The homemade parmesan rolls, homemade ricotta cheese with garlic, red pepper flake, olive oil was amazing. Our entree’s were delicious. We will definitely visit again.
Classy and friendly deliciousness. I had such a great experience at Mama Mia’s this evening. Ordered a lobster tortellini which was so succulent and fresh. I’ve had the garlic rolls there before, but this evening they brought a HOMEMADE ricotta cheese with olive oil! I was touched by the outgoing and friendly service I had as well. Server was such a doll!
Bad Resturant. Service was horrible and food very bad. There’s plenty of excellent Italian resturants in the area. I won’t return nor recommend.
GREAT family owned Italian restaurant in the heart of downtown Hollywood. A friend and I visited this great little Italian restaurant this past weekend and enjoyed the experience tremendously. The food was excellent and the portions are very large for the prices. Our server informed us that all the dishes are made to order and everything is prepared in house (no store bought sauces), which was definitely reflected in the way the food tasted. First the server brought us rolls, which were covered in fresh garlic oil parmesan cheese. Then we had the jumbo meatball appetizer that our server suggested, which lives up to its name as it is the size of a softball. It was delicious! Our meals came out piping hot and were just as good as promised. I had the lobster tortellini and my friend had the chicken marsala. The server brought us a desert menu but as good as it looked we just did not have the room left for any more food. We will definitely be back to try one though! If you are in the Miami/Broward area and have a craving for Italian food that actually tastes like it came from Italy.. this is the place to go.
