Overpriced. Well if you are going to charge 3.50 for a topping on an XL pie than give 3.50 worth of toppings. This place is great at 3:00 in the morning when every other place is closed. But if there is any other place open I recommend the other place.
Very Dissapointed. This Place used to be great but has gone downhill very fast, My friend and i got a slice each and it was undercooked, there as almost no sauce at 2.75 i have had better for that price. This place is for all the late night Hollywood druggies and alcoholic’s.

If You Love Pizza, Run Don’t Walk to Mauro’s. Simply stated, the pizza here is excellent, very close to what one would find in New York. The crust is crispy, the cheese is perfectly melted and the sauce is very flavorful. (My only complaint might be that the mushrooms, one of my favorite toppings, look like they come off a processed roll instead of being freshly sliced.) The pies and slices are usually served piping hot so wait a bit before digging in or, if you’re like me, enjoy the sensation of the slice burning a delicious hole in the roof of your mouth. I’ve never had a bad slice here. Having said all that, though, I believe Mauro’s arguably serves the best pizza in Hollywood but not in South Florida. It’s also true the place gives off a vibe reminiscent of the Soup Nazi. When you go there, be sure to have cash and not ask too many questions or it seems they’ll throw you right out. I guess there pizza makes a visit worthwhile but would it be so taxing to treat the customers, your bread and butter, a little better?

Foot long slice-yes! Almost NY and close to heaven, too. One is a meal; two is a feast. Fast service and good humor are part of the deal.
