What a dissapointment. We went to the Organic Brewery looking for some good beers. Organic Brewery had 4 beers to offer and we got two of them. They were great. The probably arose when we ordered one slammer to split with our 4 party group. They brought us two and continued to insist we said two and all four members of our party did not hear that. Rather than get the problem sorted out so we could leave, they let us just sit there and wait. They were incredibly rude and I have no idea how they can run a business like that. Do NOT recommend. Great beer but not worth the chance that you run into a problem and get screwed double your paycheck over it.
Enjoyable lunch but quiet. This place has had some mixed reviews on various sites but I’ve got the week off so I thought I’d go down to the beach today and check it out for myself. I wonder how they’re doing because it was really quiet, I know its lunch time but this is the season and most places were busy.Anyway … I loved the wheat beer. A lot of beer drinkers find wheat beers bland but for me this was a good one – not up to the gold standard (Hooegaarden) but as good as Hoffbrau. It’s subtly fruity and not at all artificial tasting like some mass produced wheats out there, and like most of the breed its as smooth as a baby’s bottom.I had the lentil soup and the Bavarian burger with a kind of sauerkraut side. All good. Not sure how Bavarian a burger can be but you could taste that it was beef and pork – it reminded me of the meatballs my aunt in Berlin makes which is by no means a bad thing.I will return and I hope they stay in business. Kudos to them for trying something different and IMO better than most venues at HWB. It may be a tough sell because most patrons down there in the daytime at least are counting every centime before they head back to the RV they left in the Hallandale Walmart car park.
