What an excellent experience!!!. I really enjoyed this place. It’s casual, but it is authentic and really good. I ordered a shrimp quesadilla which I have to say was AWESOME. The different spicy salsas they have are very good ,chipotle was the one I really fall in love for.Will definitely be back……I really can’t wait to try the steak tacos and the carne asada. Thanks for serving original mexican food!!!!!GREAT SPOT IN DOWNTOWN HOLLYWOOD.

Real mexican food. Searching for some Mexican food in Hollywood, I found this restaurant. One of the best finds that I have ever done. The food was amazing, so fresh, and with the authentic Mexican flavor.The decoration of the place is great, and they keep it clean. The service was superb, very nice staff to deal with. Well recommended restaurant.

Best Mexican Food in Hollywood!d!. TAKITOS is THE place for Mexcian food!I’ve never had an issue there: Friendly staff, great food and the owner is the one who cooks it for you! (He’s usually there in the night). Just having the owner cooking makes it fill like Mexico already. (I believe his name is Manuel)I don’t like Jamaica or Horchata waters anyways so I can’t speak for their drinks, but their Chorizo burrito/quesadilla is the best! If you’re lucky to be there on the Weekend when they make CARNITAS (pork meat) you’re in for a treat!I also like that they have different spicy sauces: A very mild one that tastes great, a medium hot one (not very fan of) and a Habanero which is JUST FOR THE BRAVE! (but tastes like happiness, spicy happiness).I’ve lot count of how many times I’ve eaten here, when in Hollywood this is my go to place. Bravo Takitos!
Very Good and Fresh. Excellent Mexican food. Probably the best quesadillas I’ve ever had. The taco salad looks amazing. Very good tacos. Will be coming back again! I just didn’t like that tip was automatically applied on the bill at 20% when there was only two of us and we didn’t have an option for the tip…Great for late night munchies… open until 5AM Every Day!
Awful service, average food. Imagine this: walking in at 9pm on a Friday night, most other places are busy, yet you only see two people at the bar and zero people sitting down. You sit down and one waitress takes your drink order, while the other later takes your food order, and your $7 margaritas are very, very weak. Then, the appetizer, an awful, non-creamy melted cheese with chorizo comes at the SAME time as your food, poorly prepared pulled pork passing as carnitas tacos, and chicken flautas which were good, but how can you f’up flautas? (it’s a fried rolled up tortilla). THEN two different people don’t realize they didn’t bring us UTENSILS!!! Later, the waitress completely forgets our beers to go with the food… never once did anyone check to make sure things were ok…. AWFUL, JUST AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE AND AN AWFUL RESTAURANT!
