Eh..not that great Service …. Eh..not that greatService is chaotic, no one acknowledged us as we stood at the door to be seated. Finally asked to sit at the bar area. Servers were nice but seemed all over the place. Food was ok, bland. All over meh.. Don’t think I will be going back.
Okay service, but excellent waffles.. The different type of waffles are outrageous, the m&m waffle is the best. Service could be better, i would recommend they stop running the groupon promo, that seems to be hurting the quality of the business. Nonetheless its good waffles.
This has to be the slowest food known to man!!! Waitress was not helpful… Waste of lunch
Just Dirty. I use to be a regular at this restaurant. In my last few visits, the quality of the food and service has really suffered. A few days ago I went to have breakfast with my family and they took very long time to bring our food out. I specifically said no swiss cheese and when I received my food it had swiss cheese. In another occasion my girlfriend went to have breakfast with her friend and daughter. They ordered the baby’s food while they decided on their order, they didn’t bring the baby’s chicken fingers until much after they had brought their food. This last time that I was there, I ordered a cup of water and when I looked at the rim the glass, there was red lip stick on the rim of the glass. This place has really became a dump.I will not be returning to this restaurant again.
Not impressed! Avoid at all costs!. Poor service, greasy food, etc, etc. My wife ordered the Belgian waffle w strawberries and the strawberries were shriveled and mushy like they should have been tossed out weeks ago. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger which was extremely greasy and could have been a lil less soggy if it hadn’t been sitting on the pickup window for 10 minutes. Always nice to watch your food sit and cool. Was tempted to get up and grab it myself. And for the coup de gras, the tuna melt we ordered came out with no cheese. Whoever heard of a tuna melt with no cheese? Asked server about it and she gave some horrible excuse that when it is ordered with the soup special it no longer comes with cheese…it magically becomes a tuna on toast…hmmmmm…Avoid this place for your own good.
Outstanding – Including the Service!. Well, just this morning (a Saturday – and they were pretty busy) we had outstanding service and great food! It was our first time, and Waffleworks is now at the top of our list of breakfast/brunch options in the area. Service was fast, attentive and friendly – so either they were having a bad spell, or took note and improved. Seriously, it couldn’t have been better. Our food was out fast, coffee was hot and ever ran out, and everyone was great. As for food, my wife had the Almond waffle. She’s a waffle connoisseur and said it was one of the best she ever had. I had the Cinnamon with pecans and thought it was great – crispy and full of whole pecans. As a bonus, the model cars are fascinating – great for kids – and photos of the owner (who owns one of the ORIGINAL Batmobiles) are fun. Anyway, I’d seriously recommend giving it a try. Our experience couldn’t have been more different from some others here.
Getting worse and worse. I used to come here pretty often with my kids, my neighbors and friends, but the last time I went, we waited to sit down (and they crowded us into a 4-top with 6 people) then they moved us, then we waited more to order, and waited again to be served. The food is greasy and half of it was cold. It used to be a really great place, but the quality of the food has deteriorated. The service is slow as molasses. No longer can recommend this place.
