Authentic israeli, hole in the wall experience. Had turkey shawerma and beef kabob shawerma with all the toppings. Spicy and delicious with a side of israeli mango nectar for sweetness. Need one more south in the downtown area.
Very Good Food, Very Nice People. I have been popping into this place for a few years whenever I expect to be in that part of Broward County. I discovered it by accident years ago after I pulled into the shopping center where it is located and saw a line out the door. The first time I went in, I was a bit intimidated by all of the selections, but got some good coaching from the cooks to get me started. The shawarma here is a real tasty treat and the portions are huge. Lunch times can be very busy, but the line moves quickly.
Excellent Israeli Food – Sunrise Pita & Grill Hollywood, FL. We had the Turkey Shawarma served with the salads that included: israeli salad, turkish salad, shug – a Yemeni hot sauce, (zhug) this one was made with the red peppers, also tahina, babaganush, eggplant salad and finally the cabbage salad. There was enough food the two of us. It was not necessary to order another main entree. Everything was all fresh and delicious. I enjoyed the Turkish salad the most.
