I am chilean, and I love food. I’ve been inthe other chilean restaurants here. This is the worst. Pastel de choclo, too sweet, made with american corn. They did not have humitas, typical food. Palta reina, as the normal ones. Nothing great. Cheese empanadas were not home made. And lomo a lo pobre, the eggs were overcooked and onios were uncooked. Torta mil hojas, was good but not the typical. Mmmm we expect more.
We ate here our last night in S. FL. We were greeted by Margie the owner and seated promptly. Ceviche appetizer was excellent. The pastel de choclo was over the top good! We also had skirt steak that was perfection and the pollo a lo pobre was delicious. The grand finale, mote de huesillos, absolutely awesome! The service was outstanding too. Over all our best meal in the last 8 days in S. Florida!
